The full bloom of August -- dazzlingly, oppressively, bakingly hot. On the corner of Gerrard East and Leslie, under the shade of a helpful tree, a fit, young member of Toronto's Finest is standing in full, authoritative, masculine uniform -- shiny mirrored shades, dark navy shirt, navy hat, navy Kevlar vest to match, trousers (navy) with double crimson stripes down each leg ... smart but sweltering. To help beat the heat, he's tipped his head back, concentrated on draining, of all beverages, a carton of chocolate milk.

I can't help but giggle.

Fashion faux pas! Too much matching!

*Blinks* Who said that?

Glo'ri'a'na, noun:
1. An alternative form of "Gloria."
2. As "Americana" defines itself as artefacts of American culture, "Gloriana" consists of the artefacts of my culture.
