Someone expressed surprise that American Eagle and Bluenotes are owned by the same company and even sell the same brands. Because it's just so darn hard to tell one shitty overpriced t-shirt from one shitty slightly less overpriced t-shirt.

I'm willing to wager that this person would exclaim in tones of shock (shock!) that Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch are in fact incestuous fuck buddies -- as if the identical décor and ambient fragrance shared between the two were the work of some mirthful god whose mysteries we are only too hopeless to learn.

Bluenotes was sold in 2004 to a private Canadian owned company. They just copy the AE marketing, it's easy to see why people would still think that.

Nay, young friend... Abercrombie & Fitch is far worse. It used to be an honest outdoors enthusiast outfitter, but sold it's soul to the devil of teen harlots and pre-fags. I remember when Abercrombie & Fitch was reputable. Manly. Good.
